Economic modelling of Indlulamithi scenarios
The Indlulamithi SA scenarios were designed to be a key part of our society’s strategic conversation about the future. To improve long-term planning capacity and enrich public policy decisions, each of the three scenarios have been quantified using economic modelling techniques.
How the economic modelling works
Together with Applied Development Research Solutions (ARDS), Indlulalmithi uses economic modelling and policy analysis to design and simulate relevant policy scenarios. The purpose is to develop projections of key economic and development indicators that support and strengthen the economic underpinning of each of the Indlulamithi scenarios.
